PALEOMAP Project’s First Annual Sponsors Meeting: Plate Tectonics, Paleogeography and Paleoclimatology
Rothwell is pleased to share with you information about a special upcoming event: Plate model vendor-partner PALEOMAP Project will host its first PALEOMAP Sponsors Meeting on May 16, 2015, in Chicago, Illinois. According to PALEOMAP Project Director Chris Scotese, this meeting will become an annual event.
PALEOMAP Project is a recognized authority in providing important maps and data that illustrate the plate tectonic development of ocean basins and continents, as well as the changing distribution of land and sea during the past 1100 million years. In addition to supplying a global plate tectonics model for use with PaleoGIS and a set of paleogeographic maps for use with Rothwell’s PaleoClimate™ software program, PALEOMAP Project offers an independent set of plate tectonic, paleogeographic and paleoclimatic maps as ArcGIS shapefiles and MXDs.
For more information about either the PALEOMAP Sponsors Meeting or PALEOMAP Project research, please contact Dr. Scotese, at cscotese@gmail.com. Members of the Rothwell team will attend the May meeting in Chicago, where we’ll offer demonstrations of and share insights about our Paleo products. We hope to see you there!
